Women Navigating Crazy - Sharing my story

In September of 2021, I was presented with an opportunity to share my story with 100 women at my church. My friend, and prayer leader, Leighann McCoy was facilitating a study on her book, "A Woman's Guide to Hearing God's Voice". It was honor to share my story amongst other courageous women on how God met us in the most difficult times in our lives.

They say, “you know you’ve been healed when you can tell your story without crying.”

I have yet to get there.

My story is mine. Not my husband or anyone else’s. It certainly isn’t the most tragic story you’ve ever heard but for me, this was a painful time in my life.

But as I look back, all of that pain taught me so much. The pain showed me how strong I really am, feeling hopeless showed me that God was with me and that I was worthy. I am grateful for lessons.

Dear Past,

Thank you for the trials. Thank you for the pain. Thank you for the heartache. Thank you for helping me put the pieces back together. I love myself. I love God. And, most importantly, I love my husband, and our girls with all my heart. Thank you for giving me my family back.
